What the Freshman Offer

Hey there.  My colleagues at Fleishman-Hillard and Fleishman Hillard Government Relations developed a wonderful overview of those incoming Congresspeople who have healthcare backgrounds.   I wish I could take credit for it, but (sadly) I cannot.  Still, it gives an insight as to why I am at Fleishman-Hillard.  I think it a very useful bit of insight for those wanting to know what the freshman class of Congresspeople have in the way of experience at healthcare.

For instance, Peter Roskam (D-IL) has five, count ’em five, family members who are physicians;

Or, Chris Murphy (D-CT) chaired the State task force looking into the re-importation of prescription drugs from Canada;

The son of Zack Space (D-OH) was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at the age of six, which led to a strong support of stem cell research.

Read this and more in the report on our freshman from Fleishman-Hillard.  You will find it located in the column to your left under Resources By Me, although this one is really by my talented colleagues at FH Public Affairs and FH Government Relations.
