I'm taking the rest of the week off for the holiday. In the meantime, I wish for each and every one of you a safe, tasty and pleasant Thanksgiving holiday in the states, and for those outside the US (which is over 20% of my subscribers) have a good weekend and I'll be back in touch on Monday.
I'm a big foody and cook so this is one of my favorite holidays. But I also take time to take stock (not just chicken and turkey stock) of the things for which I'm grateful.
And one of the things for which I will be giving thanks are all of the very kind people who have bothered to subscribe to the blog, visit it and read, provide thoughtful comments (that's you Pierce!) as well as for all the new friends and acquaintances, both real and virtual I've made this year. That's you Fabio Gratton(@skypen), Ellen Hoenig (@ellenhoenig), Christiane True (@christiane true), Shwen (@shwen), Jay Bryant (@jaysbryant), Jonathan Richman (@jonmrich), Miriam Tucker (@miriametucker), Marian Cutler (@mariancutler), Heather Powell (@heldincontempt) – a truly great handle, Ann Moravic (@RX4good) and Arnie Friede, of course - and many others too numerous to name. You have all, one way or another, made the work of writing the blog quite a worthwhile endeavor for me and I wish you the very best.
